In order to get your collection uploaded accurately we need you to format your spreadsheet before uploading. We will help you get things added accurately and efficiently in this article. Note, this can only be done from the web interface and not from iOS and Android apps. Also, we only accept files in the .csv extension. If you're using software to create your spreadsheet make sure you export as CSV.
We created a sample CSV for you to access.
Each row in your spreadsheet represents a single card and the columns must be named properly in order for the software to add it to your collection correctly. The order of the columns doesn't matter. Here are all the columns:
* - Required
*Date Purchased - The date you purchased this card in MM/DD/YYYY format
Quantity - Number of this card you have in your collection
*Player - The player(s) featured on this card (Luka Doncic)
*Year - The year featured on this card (2018)
*Set - The set featured on this card (Panini Prizm)
Variation - The variation of this card (Silver Prizm)
Number - The number on the card (145)
*Category - The category of the card from Card Ladder options. See the full list.
*Condition - The condition of the card from Card Ladder options. See the full list.
*Investment - The total amount of money invested into the card (purchase price + fees)
Estimated Value - The estimated value of the card by yourself. Don't worry about getting this perfect.
Ladder ID - If you know this card exists in our Ladder database then feel free to use the ID you can get from the URL
Notes - Any notes you'd like to include in your card profile
Date Sold - Optional date you sold the card in the MM/DD/YYYY format
Sold Price - Optional price you sold this card for
Image - If you have an image of the card hosted you can put in the URL here
** Please note that Investment and Sold Price will be entered using the currency set on your account. IE, if you have your account set to AUD currency then you need to put AUD prices in the spreadsheet for all prices. **
Once you have this spreadsheet ready to go head over to the website and go to your collection (https://app.cardladder.com/collection)
Click on the Add button in the top right.
Choose the "Upload CSV" option
Click the "Upload your CSV" box and select the file you created. The software will walk you through the process.
